Been playing for a while and can't seem to get ahead? Or did you just skip the other sections and jump right in? Alright, we've got some tips for ya

 

1. Scouting

Scouting is definitely one of (if not THE) most important actions in the game, so you want to make sure you do it right:

  • Start Slow: In the beginning, you want to scout with very few turns (1 or 2) to make it easier to maintain a balance. Getting too many thugs without upping your guns will make them unhappy quickly; the same with not having enough condoms and medicine for your hoes. Start off slow to avoid any mistakes!
  • Negotiate: You have to pay your hoes a decent rate if you want to keep them happy, but it's often a good idea to set their payout low while scouting (and performing other actions) so that you get the most bang for your buck. Remember to set it back high when you're done though, because unhappy hoes are likely to leave you if approached by another pimp.
2. Attacking

Attacking is more of an art (or science), so don't go popping off at the mouth if you're not ready:

  • Be Informed: If you have more informants than your victim, make sure you spy on them first to see what you're up against. There's nothing like going in gung-ho and getting your ass beat.
  • Check their artillery: Even without spying you can see how many thugs and guns someone has. If they have more, be careful. In fact, even if they have less, be careful, because they could have stronger guns. This is why it's good to be informed (see above).
  • Go in happy: Before you attack, make sure your hoes and thugs are happy. If not, they may get pissed off and leave mid-battle.
